Big Week Celebration

Pie, Ice Cream, Prizes and Free Checking... plus enter to win $500 cash.

Please join us July 21-25 for our annual Free Checking Big Event at each Bank of the San Juans location across Colorado.
Each branch will have fun activities and treats all week.  Simply come in any day (or each day!) for treats and enter the drawing for 500 bucks. Official entry forms are at each branch.
 
Friday is Hot Dog Day! Join us for hot dogs on the grill. It's a free customer-appreciation event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Friday (July 25) at these branches: Durango downtown, Durango North Main, Pagosa Springs, Meeker, Florence, Pueblo West, Pueblo downtown, Greenhorn/Colorado City and Grand Junction - Valley Plaza. Other branches have fun celebrations for Friday, so check out the listings below.
Here are the rules for the $500 cash contest: No purchase necessary. Enter in person during the week of July 21 - 25, 2025. There’s a limit of one entry per person per day. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. A winner will be drawn at random from all entries. Valid ID required to redeem prize. Bank of the San Juan employees and members of their households are not eligible. You don’t need to be present to win. That’s pretty much it. Good Luck!

Durango - Downtown | Treats and snacks will be in the lobby all week, plus spin-to-win prizes. On Friday, July 25, it's our annual customer appreciation Hot Dog Cookout event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with grilled franks and buns, along with all the fixin’s. plus drinks and chips for all. We’ll have ice cream in the lobby to cool things down.

Durango - North Main | It’s Candyland, with the drive-up windows turned into a Candyland game board. Come in to the lobby for the gift spinner and (of course!) candy. On Wednesday, we will be doing an in-house ice-cream making/pie making contest using the ice cream makers and pie pans. On Friday, it’s grilling hot dogs plus chips and drinks, also from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pagosa Springs welcomes you with a Fair theme, featuring treats and snacks all week, plus ice cream. On Wednesday, we’re having a pie eating contest and pie baking contest. On Friday, it’s hot dogs plus chips and drinks, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Pagosa Springs High School rodeo bareback state champ Tucker Jacobson will be at the branch signing autographs on Friday, too. We will have our spinning wheel out with lots of prizes.

Grand Junction – Valley Plaza | Spin-to-win prizes and treats inside all week with our Party in the Barn theme.  Spin the wheel and different games Monday through Friday. Hamburgers and hot dogs on Friday with pie!

Grand Junction – Orchard Mesa | Come on down to Orchard Mesa and enjoy a full week of picnic-style food and fun! Spin the wheel for extra prizes and enjoy pie and ice cream on Friday, plus a taco food-truck vendor will be at the branch for lunch on the go.

Spin to win all week, maybe win 100 Grand? (The candy bar, of course)! We’ll have our sponsored potluck on Friday to show our appreciation for our customers, the rest of the week we’re as “American as apple pie,” with pie treats all week long! Friday is the annual community potluck all day until the food and goodies run out. 

Enjoy a Colorado and County Fair theme and decorations, along with tons of snacks, pie and ice cream all week, and the ever-popular spinning wheel for fun items. Just in time for the Rio Blanco County Fair coming up the week of July 28-Aug. 2. On Friday, it’s grilling hotdogs plus chips and drinks, also from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Come in for the Big Wheel and spin for lots of prizes. We’ll have snacks all week – with treats for a different taste bud each day. Add your ideas for the annual Duck Race duckling decoration.

It’s a Barn Dance, with all sorts of snacks all week, plus pie and ice cream on Friday and tons of give-away items on the colorful prize wheel-of-fortune.
We’re celebrating all week with  an ice cream/sweet shop. Each day will be a different small treat, and on Friday we will do a full ice cream bar with different toppings. 

Pueblo West | Snack, treats and prizes? We’ll have plenty of those all week. Please come in for fun and snacks. Hot dogs from 11 am to 2 pm.

Pueblo – Sunset | Look for our fun County Fair theme, with a bean bag toss, ring toss, corn hole and mini pies, ice cream cups, popsicles and snack type items all week.

Pueblo – Downtown | We’re bringing the BSJ County Fair to Pueblo Downtown, with games, fair-themed treats, spin the wheel prizes and even a “vote to pie your banker” contest.  Hot dogs from 11 am to 2 pm.

Ice cream served all week, plus pies on Friday.  The beach theme and beach fun continue all week, along with the spinning wheel for prizes plus kids games.  Hot dogs from 11 am to 2 pm.
