BANK OF THE SAN JUANS ANNOUNCES TWO OFFICER PROMOTIONS
DURANGO - Bank of the San Juans has promoted John Stolfa to Executive Vice President and Beth Stelz to Branch Manager
John Stolfa was recently promoted to Executive Vice President at Bank of the San Juans. Stolfa has been with the bank since their opening in 1998. He will oversee all three branches, accounting, human resources and computer technology. Stolfa serves on the Council of Directors for the Braided River Mediation Center, and is involved with Relay for Life. He has been in Durango since 1995.
Beth Stelz has been promoted to Branch Manager of the downtown Durango Branch to succeed John Stolfa. She has been in the banking business for nine years. Prior to the Bank of the San Juans she was a senior auditor at Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio and branch manager Provident Bank in Cincinnati. She has been an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Stelz graduated from Wittenberg in Springfield, Ohio with a degree in Mathematics in 1997 and a MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. She is originally from Columbus and has been in Durango since January 2005.
