BANK OF THE SAN JUANS ANNOUNCES THREE PROMOTIONS
DURANGO - Bank of the San Juans has promoted Richard Baker, Banking Officer, to manage loan processing, Lisa Engle to Assistant Branch Manager and Kirsten Nygren-Formea to Operation Officer.
Richard Baker, already a Banking Officer, will now manage loan processing at the Durango downtown branch. Before joining the Bank of the San Juans in January of 2005, he was at First National Bank for 10 years. He has been in Durango since 1991 and is the Treasurer for the Four Corners Gay and Lesbian Alliance for Diversity. Baker graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science, Biology.
Lisa Engle will be the assistant branch manager for the North Main branch. She has been with the bank since April 2004; prior to that she was at Wells Fargo for more than five years. Engle is a Durango native.
Kirsten Nygren-Formea, who joined the bank in December 2004, will be the operations officer at the North Main branch. She graduated from San Juan College in Farmington, NM with an Associate of the Arts in 2003. Nygren-Formea is originally from Farmington, NM and has been in Durango since April 2004.
Bank of the San Juans is located at 144 East 8th Street and 1710 North Main Avenue in Durango and 305 Hot Springs Blvd. in Pagosa Springs.
