ABOUT THE BANK
In September 1997, a group of locals announced plans to open Bank of the San Juans. Their idea was to open a bank that emphasized personal service and compassion toward customers while building financial success - concepts that define a small town bank.
Today, Bank of the San Juans continues to grow as a bank dedicated to individual customer attention and superior service. By holding creativity, flexibility, and a sense of community as values of importance, Bank of the San Juans thrives not only as a bank, but as an organization that refuses to compromise service in order to make a dollar.
In 1999, Bank of the San Juans opened their second office in Pagosa Springs to better serve the Four Corners area. And even while they continue to grow, Bank of the San Juans still adheres to their community roots and the friendly and entrepreneurial spirit with which they first began. Bank of the San Juans is proud to serve the communities of Southwest Colorado as "one big happy little bank."
